Boxing training in Phoenix
Old School is a Phoenix boxing gym for people who want to learn the sport correctly. Complete beginners, adults returning to training, competitive amateurs, and professional fighters share the same room while working at the level that fits their experience. If you have been searching for boxing classes near you, start with the fundamentals and build from there.
Learn stance, balance, footwork, defense, straight punches, combinations, and how to move with purpose. Good boxing starts with repeatable technique—not rushing into hard sparring.
Choose private coaching for individual attention, partner or group work for shared intensity, or open gym access for independent training. Coaches can help you find the right starting point.
Boxing develops coordination, endurance, strength, timing, and confidence. Sessions may include mitt work, bags, movement drills, jump rope, and conditioning based on your ability.
Your first boxing session
You do not need boxing experience or a full set of gear for your first visit. Wear comfortable athletic clothing, bring water, and arrive ready to listen and work. We will learn what you want from boxing and direct you toward the right coaching option.
